Coming up on Dateline this week, Video Journalist David Brill travels to Darfur to report on the latest unrest sweeping the African region.

In this Video Blog, Brill talks about what it was like traveling through the region and the intense security scattered throughout Sudan's many refugee camps and checkpoints.

Have Your Say: Should the international community step up its efforts to restore order in Darfur?

At one point, he is threatened by a man with a large rock, only to realise later he's concealing a pistol under his shirt.

While many aid agencies are doing their best to provide food and shelter for the displaced Darfuris, Brill believes more UN troops will be needed to help restore stability to the African nation.
