Ralph Nader should be the next US President. He seems to be the only candidate with an opinion that hasn't been bought and paid for. He's also the only candidate who isn't insane, or a liar or totally corrupt and detached from the electorate. The Repugs obviously want to lose. I can't believe anyone in their right mind would consider McCain and Palin-the-Russia-expert as serious candidates to run a chook raffle, let alone the World's ex-Super Power. But I sort of hope McCain wins - that should finish America off completely and the sooner the better. There's no excuse for what Bush has done and we shouldn't excuse him

Reading the comments posted thus far, it's obvious to me that people in Australia don't know what they're talking about. Thank God elections are confined to American voters! Even though the US and Australia on allies on many issues, there's obviously many misconceptions. BTW, Obama all the way!

None of the above. Clinton = too much baggage. Obama may end up being too black for mainstream white America and too white for aminstream black America. McCain is just scary. American politics is like all politics - you have to be the wrong kind of person to be in it in the first place, especially at the top.

What has become of the mainstream media? I pray to god Dr Ron Paul wins the presidential election, to me it seems like humanities last chance for freedom and peace. RON PAUL for president in 2008

How complex a job, being President of the United States ~ Hilary more politically astute; Barak not quite experienced enough as yet ~ in Utopia it would be a Clinton/Obama ticket..!
