This guy is plain wrong and no-one should be taken in. There is such a thing as a global oil market and it is beyong the control of speculators. This problem is all to do with demand growth - just ask China, Japan etc and not the OPEC producers

I couldn't believe that just a few people who are extremely evil and greedy have brought the world on its knee's. These people are not different from Hitler, they have the same motive and that is to destroy the world for profit. How can the world let them do this. These people are destroying lives and causing untold sufferings even here in Australia. May God have mercy on them for making his children slaves through there evil intentions.

Great interview very enlightening for all the wrong reasons! I just read the link Matt from Brisbane posted (thanks Matt). Unfortunately powerful people in this world are totally sick and they have had it planned for years.. how scary.. to think what could be next? Thanks for the awareness.. now can I go hide?

SHEIKH ZAKI YAMANI, when asked about the hike in oil prices, has clearly stated that "It does not reflect the fundamentals of supply/demand", and yet he refuses to accept that it is the Oil Producing Countries that are responsible for such hikes in prices. To say the least, the very formation of OPEC as a cartel shows that they (producers) can vary oil production to control the price.

Amazing interview, and how true. The sooner world energy production can be converted to hydrogen power the sooner we will be freed from the tyranny of oil. Bring it on.

News Media presenters doing the bidding of oil price speculators by constantly talking up prices is not appreciated. They should be questioning the current spate of irrationality in the so-called market. Thanks to the Sheikh for again exposing the crooks.

Scare Mongering seems to be the way of life for some: Governments, Churches, Lobby Groups and Media... all are involved instilling a sense of fear! I was so pleased to see some honesty and reality from a high profile individual like Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani, who has been involved with the system for so long. Finally people are coming forward to speak their truth… for that I am grateful… What is a disappointment (although not new) is the fact that so few make so much, at the expense of so many, I am not adverse to people making millions and I strive daily to do so, but not at the expense of others… If you cannot add value to someone’s life then… really what is the point… Who is responsible? WE ALL ARE! Robbie

'The Bilderberg Group' - 120 members from military, politics, royalty, technology, media and oil meet to discuss policy. One point on their agenda - Jacking up oil to $200 barrel. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2007/170907_middle_class.htm
