Meet the Team

  • Presenter: Jenny Brockie

    Jenny is one of Australia's most respected journalists. She's won journalism's top award  - the Gold Walkley - as well as a swag of others for her work as a journalist and documentary maker. As host of Insight, she's renowned for her skill and fairness, ensuring as many voices as possible are heard.
     
    Jenny brings warmth, humour and a forensic attention to detail to Insight. She has reported extensively across television and radio on major international and local events.

    Jenny has also produced and directed a string of acclaimed documentaries including the multi-award winning 'Cop It Sweet' about Sydney's Redfern police. She has hosted her own morning radio show on 702 ABC Sydney, television interview program 'Speaking Personally' on ABC TV,  and has worked as a senior reporter on 'Four Corners' and 'Nationwide'. She joined Insight in 2001.

  • Producer: Anne Worthington

    Anne graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2005 where as a student she worked as a reporter for regional broadcaster Prime News.

    She joined SBS as a weekend production assistant in World News while in her third year of studies before accepting a position as a Producer/Reporter with Sky News in 2005.

    Anne returned to SBS in late 2006 as an Assistant Producer with INSIGHT and became a Producer/Reporter in January 2007.

  • Producer: Johnny Luu

    Johnny started his career in print journalism writing articles for a variety of publications including The Sydney Morning Herald, Rolling Stone and Good Weekend.
     
    He has been with INSIGHT since 2007 and has a particular interest in health, science and technology. In 2008, Johnny worked in New York to produce two special Insight episodes from America as part of SBS' coverage of the US presidential election.
     
    Johnny holds a degree in Law and Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney.

     

  • Producer: Erina Johnson

    Erina started her career in ABC Radio in the Pilbara in Western Australia presenting the Late Afternoon Show.

    After 2 years she swapped the Australian desert for the rain in the UK and made the move into television.

    She worked on a diverse range of documentaries such as army medics in Afghanistan, UK policing, obesity and major crimes.
