Jacq Brophy
Production Manager 'Jacq' Brophy joins the Living Black team as Series 9 gets underway.
With more than 12 years experience in television, Jacq has worked across the industry for many of the major networks and production companies, bringing with her a wealth of experience in managing television programs.
After completing media studies at RMIT, and a 5 year stint at the Nine Network in Melbourne, Jacq moved into freelance production management. Previous projects have included working on documentaries shot in Sri Lanka, India and Africa, managing a number of popular lifestyle shows, developing natural history programs for the National Geographic and Discovery channels, and participating in the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
With a strong personal interest in factual programming and humanitarian and social issues, Jacq considers joining Living Black a rare and exciting opportunity. She and is looking forward to learning more about Australia's indigenous culture and community, and contributing to this unique and important program.
