Indigenous Celebrities need to get together and help bring back some pride, and look towards other indigenous people who have gone through the same problem and teach the communities that being aboriginal does not mean your the only people who have gone through this, allow other black people in and share there experiences, stop being sacred because suffering is suffering, trust me you are not alone you need to stand up and fight to keep your beautiful culture alive, remember the best way to control man is to confuse him. Come together and become one voice, one fight. Set your people free from the chains set by those who came and abused.

Drugs prohibition is an utterly failed policy as was alcohol prohibition. The only beneficiaries are the criminals. Time for a new approach. Regulation not prohibition is needed. Then we can sensibly address the health problems.

I know many people will be sceptical and even critical of this statement but if you take Redfern NSW as an example oh how things have changed since the 1980s when I believe the AFP moved into the TNT towers! See a recent article by journalist Elizabeth Farrelly in the Sydney Morning Herald where she highlighted this piece of information. When is the intervention arriving in Redfern - the community needs protection. Cops are out of control - guns are being held at children's heads - I've heard of 2 cases of this in the past couple of weeks and this behaviour was accompanied by statements along the lines of: "I/we could kill you just like I/we killed TJ" (TJ obviously referring to TJ Hickey) TJ's sisters/Gail's daughters are also continually experiencing harassment, intimidation
