US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has won the battle for the key state of Pennsylvania, US media reports.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Is it time for one of the Democratic presidential candidates to quit the race? Are Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's continuing battles damaging their party's chances of winning the US election?

If Obama does become president, which appears to be America's best chance at a genuine leader since JFK, one without links to the existing power groups to allow a healthy redistribution of that power... I sure hope he chooses his own security and that he chooses wisely.

It is high time that Hillary Clinton steps aside and gives her full support to Barack Obama. USA and the World has suffered enough in the past 8 years under the appalling Bush Administration, definitely no one needs any more of Bush and/or his party cronies at the helm. Democratic Obama is the only candidate who can hopefully undo some of the tragic and lasting damages done by the Bush Administration and set things right. This will bring some semblance and justice within the USA and the World.

Clinton lends her campaign $US6.4m Will she get interest when her campaign pays her back? Also who the heck is her campaign anyway? Where does the campain get the money to pay her back? If the campain has the money why didn't she just use the campaign money in th first place? So many questions of Clinton tacktics makes the heads of thinking Americans spin almost as much as Clinton spins everything she says and does. Maybe it's just post trumatic stress from her being shot at when she was in her war zone on the front line. Or was it the twilite zone she was in? And such a good woman, She pulled herself up from nothing by her panty hose toes. Ha. Dan NJ USA

A little bit of Obama idealism is perhaps what this world needs. We are a world that is too scared to stray from the established (conservative) norms. Show the world that there are alternate paths to the ones that America has taken under Bush, and show that a better America and (by leadership) a better world is possible.

clinton's contributors held off giving her any more money until the results were in from indiana and north carolina. what clinton needs to do is bow out while she can still do it gracefully. for the sake of the democratic party and for the american people. but she won't.

  • ROBERT FROM SYDNEY SAYS: 08:00:00 PM Wednesday, 7th May, 2008

The strongly competitive race between Hillary.C and B. Obama will go until the last minutes. No candidate is perfect without faulties but the voters always concern who will provide efficient solution for current problems the country is just facing. Not showy words but actual plans. No candidate has absolute advantage over another and campain races will revert the whole societies to shows from the Democratic Party. If Democratic Party is open for the public discussion and voting in the form of democratic voting it will get victory in the end and if it personally closes race down, two candidates loses confidences from the public.

America is no longer a true democracy anyway. The whole election process is a farce - the next President (puppet) is already decided and the media is used to manipulate and deceive the masses.

  • ROB FROM ACT SAYS: 02:50:20 PM Friday, 25th April, 2008

The trouble is that even with the extensive campaigning, massive public exposure and outlining of policy, it is still quite difficult to know what either Obama or Clinton really think and believe as individuals. American election campaigns are so full of acting and bull dust that it is impossible to learn anything about the real people and what makes them tick.
