China Quake: How you can help
Thursday, 15 May, 2008As the death toll from the China quake rises, aid agencies are bracing for a tough rescue effort hampered by rough roads and bad weather.
The 7.9 magnitude quake which hit the south west Chinese province of Sichuan earlier this week has left 40,000 dead or missing.
To aid rescue efforts the following agencies are taking donations;
Médecins Sans Frontières Australia
Telstra says calls to the Sichuan Province (with prefixes: 0011 86-28, 86-81, 86-82, 86-83) will be free from May 17 until May 26.
