WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Is this year's Budget 'tough but fair'? Wayne Swan promised a tough budget, but a fair one for all Australians. Do you agree?

We hear the hyp of the working family, but you never hear the single female and male. They are the ones who miss out on all budgets. The family for many years has had the tax relief but the single tax payer has been discriminated but govts since the Paul Keating Days

What about single pensioners? Wayne Swan has admitted he could not live on it and yet he expects others to do so. Stop giving millions overseas and start giving to deserving Australians - homeless, pensioners, disability people etc.

People whinging about "taxing the rich". Now that the budget favours us poor low income bastards its suddenly a bad thing?! Luxury car tax? Dont drive a bmw. No baby bonus if you earn over 150k? Learn to save better. Its a fairly good budget; not a great one, but its a damn good start. Although WA's $300 million waterfront project is a joke. I'm a hospital worker, and believe me our patients would much prefer it spent here than on a replica venice that will sink twice as fast as the real one.
