Pilgrims offered half-price entry to Sexpo
Tuesday, 22 July, 2008
World Youth Day pilgrims encouraged to 'procreate or perish' by Cardinal George Pell have been offered half-price tickets to the next big event taking over the city: a sex exhibition.
Sexpo exhibitors say the Sydney Archbishop's call to arms for young Catholics during last week's Papal visit has
struck a chord, leading to the discount.

"If people are going to procreate, they have to become more relaxed about their sexuality," said Fiona Patten, head of the Eros Association, Australia's national adult retail and entertainment group.
"Sexpo is a place where young adult pilgrims can do this without feeling ungodly.
"Pilgrims will be welcomed with open arms by the adult industry and will find an astonishing array of items and services that will help couples keep sexually aware and interested in each other."
Pilgrims will receive half-price tickets on Thursday if they bring their World Youth Day badges to the event at the Hordern Pavilion.
Donation boxes at the venue will be used to collect funds for support group Broken Rites, which helps the victims of sex abuse by members of the clergy.
